ā€œHere goes the retirement of a great, great football Giant,ā€ said Tom Coughlin. On Friday, Eli Manning will retire from the NFL and New York Giants, as first reported by Dan Graziano of ESPN, marking his 16th season as his last.

Manning will retire as one of the Giants greats. In his 16 years, he set franchise records for games played, seasons played, shattered all passing records and won two Super Bowls. To thank him, the Giants issued a video played on their social media platforms.

Watch below, as the Giants publicly thank their quarterback that took them back to the promised land twice.

For 16 seasons, Manning was a constant in the Giants' organization, whether he was playing well or not. However, the time has come for his retirement, as the 39-year-old took a backseat to No. 6 overall pick Daniel Jones in 2019. With that, both sides are moving on.

No one did it better than 10.
