Goran Dragic is now co-starring the Miami Heat alongside Hassan Whiteside.  He has already shown signs of improvement, and with Dwayne Wade gone, he has to think more about scoring.  He's  averaging 20.2 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, 7 assists, but the most significant improvement comes in his newfound long-range ability.  He's improved his three-point percentage by 15% to 52% so far this season.  He's shooting a lot more than he ever has in his career and his player efficiency rating has jumped also; prompting interest from many teams around the league

Dragic had this to say in regards to being traded:

“Rumors will always be there.  It's not the first time I've been mentioned in them. The only thing that I can control is preparing myself to do my job on the floor and at practice and try to be as solid as possible.”

He definitely has the right mentality and it will be interesting to see how he produces for the remainder of the season.  If Pat Riley chooses to shop him around, he will definitely get a good set of players or even another emerging star.

Justise Winslow had nothing but praise for the man:

“I just know the caliber of player he is.  You ask guys around the league, they have a lot of respect for Goran. We don't get too much into media and fans and what they think—from locker room to locker room, we know the guys that can play and the guys that can't.”

Winslow is an emerging star in his own right and has high praise for the vet. Dragic is seen as young 30-year old because he wasn't a starter for the first five years of his career.  He has also shown great resiliency not missing many games over the course of his career.  If he continues to produce at the same level that he has to start the season, the interest for him will only continue to grow.
