Miami Heat star Goran Dragic has lived in the United States for awhile now, but unlike many of his teammates, he doesn’t have a vote in the upcoming presidential election. Nevertheless, Dragic has been watching the race from afar.

According to Tom D’Angelo of the Palm Beach Post, the Slovenian point guard can’t really believe what he is seeing:

“I’m kind of in shock,” Dragic said.

Drawing closer to Tuesday’s election between Hilary Clinton and opinionated republican Donald Trump, the feeling in the Heat locker room is that of confusion.

The mud-slinging approach from the nominees especially has surprised Dragic:

“Back home we don’t do politics like that,” he said. “The people throwing bad words to the other party, insulting. I was a little in shock, I was surprised. How those guys were insulting each other, everybody was talking about that.”

Dragic’s teammate Justise Winslow explained that the debates have caused some slight tension in the locker room:

“It’s been very divisive. It’s not something you want to get too into in a locker room. It’s no different than family. In the locker room you might have a few conversations here and there… kind of shake your head at some of the stuff that goes on. As a group you don’t really get too deep into it. I think that’s any election. It’s that thing about the dinner table. I was taught not to talk religion or politics.”

When asked about whether his team would support either candidate, Winslow leaned toward the democrats.

“I think Clinton might win in our locker room,” Winslow said.
