Guardians of The Galaxy star Michael Rooker is known to always steal the spotlight. He's one of those actors whose characters look like their always grumpy but in reality are weirdly lovable. So it's no surprise that the actor would someday want a What if…? episode all to his own.

The actor returns in What If…? Season One in this week's Episode 2, to support Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa. The story remixes Star-Lord's origins where instead of Peter Quill, T'challa gets adopted by Yondu. However, if the stars are in favor of Rooker, What If…? Season Two or beyond could include an episode that focuses on Yondu and the Ravagers. Fans have always wanted to further explore the reaches of space in the MCU so this could be a great way to do so.

“Well, I certainly hope it does. That would be a great ‘what if.' [Laughs] I would jump on that bandwagon right away,” Rooker told Entertainment Weekly this week. “It is a wonderful little niche in the armor to open it up and see what happened, what could happen. What if we told more of Yondu’s story and the Ravagers?”

“I bloody think the fans would go crazy over it. I think it'd be a blast for fans to get to experience that because you gave them a beautiful story and a window and now it can kind of be whatever you want it to be,” Rooker added. “We've got our fingers crossed. We want more!”

Let's hope that Kevin Feige answers Rookers (and our) prayers and delivers us that awesome hypothetical episode.

Marvel's What if…? is available on Disney+ and will be releasing new episodes every Wednesday.
