The Green Bay Packers are preparing to take on the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football in Week 6 action. It is a game that Matt LaFleur and company would love to win. Beating the Lions would give them the early-season trifecta of wins over the rest of the NFC North division.

Currently, Green Bay is 4-1 on the young season after a huge 34-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Detroit, on the other hand, is 2-1-1 and are looking much better than many were expecting.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at two major X-Factors for the Packers this week against the Lions.

Oren Burks, Linebacker

First up, Oren Burks is back on the field for the Packers after suffering an injury in the preseason. He played against the Cowboys and ended up recording two total tackles. Green Bay needs more playmaking ability in the middle of their defense and Burks is more than capable of being that guy.

Green Bay loves the speed and athleticism that Burks brings to the field. Against a Lions' offense that has the ability to make plays on the ground and through the air, Burks needs to step up. He will also need to step up and help cover tight ends this week.

Jimmy Graham, Tight End

Secondly, Jimmy Graham is going to be a major X-Factor this week for the Packers. Green Bay has seen Graham look much better early this season than he did last year. He has shown some speed, athleticism, and the ability to be a big weapon for Aaron Rodgers in the red zone.

Detroit's defense has never been known as a “lockdown” defense, but they do have some defensive back talent on the roster. Graham should be able to create some mismatches this week and Rodgers will be looking to him to make some plays. If Graham is able to step up and come through in the opportunities he gets, the Packers are going to be tough to stop.
