The Green Bay Packers are coming off a great victory against the Detroit Lions. It was an excellent bounce-back performance after an atrocious Week 1 display against the New Orleans Saints. The Pack defeated the Lions 35-17, with Aaron Rodgers proving the doubters wrong. The San Francisco 49ers are next.

In his postgame interview, Aaron Rodgers said:

“There’s so many overreactions that happen on a week-to-week basis. So it’s nice to come out, have a good performance and get the trolls off our back for at least a week.”

Rodgers and the Packers will now move on to their Sunday night matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers have started off the season 2-0 and look to be at the level they were a few years ago. Many people forget that the 49ers were in the Super Bowl just two seasons ago. This should be a great game between two contenders in the NFC.

Packers Week 3 Predictions

4. Packers get an interception

In week one, the Packers' defense was horrendous as they allowed 38 points to the New Orleans Saints. The Packers had a slow start defensively against the Lions, allowing 17 points in the first half. However, in the second half, the Packers held the Lions scoreless and picked off Jared Goff.

Jimmy Garrapolo and the 49ers' dynamic offense will be going up against this Packers defense. The Packers will look to build on their 2nd half performance against the Lions, while the 49ers need to get more consistent. In week one, the 49ers put up 41 points but only 17 points in week two.

With talented players in the Packers' secondary, they should get an interception.

3. Packers win a one-possession game

Over the past few years, there have been great games between the Packers and 49ers. The 49ers beat the Packers in the Conference Championship game two seasons ago, but the Packers won their matchup last season.

A healthy 49ers team this season is poised to be a contender, making this an intriguing game. It will likely be a close throughout, but the Packers have the talent to beat the 49ers.

2. Aaron Rodgers throws for 350 yards

Aaron Rodgers followed up his terrible week one performance by putting on a clinic against the Lions. He threw four touchdowns against the Lions, showing he is still a fantastic player. Rodgers won MVP last season, but many have forgotten how talented he truly is due to the offseason rumors.

The 49ers have been able to contain the Packers run game in the past, which will force Rodgers to throw the ball downfield.

1. Davante Adams catches two touchdowns

Davante Adams reminded everyone why he is one of the NFL's best wide receivers with his week two performance. Adams had eight receptions for 121 yards, and no one could stop him. Even with the Lions running a two-high safety look, Adams was still able to put his stamp on the game.

While the 49ers have a great defensive unit, their weakness is the secondary. Adams and the Pack can take advantage of this, leading to multiple touchdowns.

Last season against the 49ers, Adams had ten receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown. It was a monster performance that showcased he can torch the 49ers secondary.

This game will be a big test for both the Packers and the 49ers. They are both hoping to contend for a Super Bowl, and games like these can shape teams. Look for this game to come down to the wire with the Pack Attack coming out on top.
