Apparently even in the historically red state of Texas people felt like they were given two bad choices as candidates to the United States presidency. A total of 25 voters in Bexar County wrote in a vote for San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich for president.

County records showed that 5,226 people casted a vote for someone or something other than the two major party candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, according to records acquired by the San Antonio Express-News.

Among other names to come up on Bexar County's ballots as write-in votes for the presidency were Tim Duncan, Jesus and Mickey Mouse. Others included a Popovich-Duncan campaign proposal, though the effort was obviously futile.

Other notable choices include first lady Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Darth Vader, “Deez Nutz,” and George Strait.

Some voters decided they'd rather end it all than vote for either major candidates, as “giant meteor” received two votes.
