ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski thinks the Andre Iguodala stalemate with the Memphis Grizzlies is going to go on well into the season.

Wojnarowski says the Grizzlies firmly believe they can find a trade partner for Iguodala at some point during the regular season by aggregating other contracts into a potential deal.

Iguodala is owed $17.2 million this upcoming season, the final year of his contract. The 2015 Finals MVP isn’t expected to play a single game for the Grizzlies, who are rebuilding the franchise around rookie point guard Ja Morant and second-year big man Jaren Jackson Jr.

Last season for the Golden State Warriors, Andre Iguodala averaged 5.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 58.2 percent from the free-throw line. The 35-year-old swingman put up 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the 2019 playoffs.

The Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets are reportedly interested in adding Iguodala, who wants a buyout with Memphis. The Grizzlies, though, are looking to get something in return for the veteran small forward.

The Grizzlies and Iguodala reached a mutual agreement that will allow Iguodala to skip training camp. The three-time NBA champion will train on his own.
