Memphis Grizzlies rookie Brandon Clarke will be out at least two weeks with a right quadriceps injury.

Clarke left Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers with hip soreness:

Clarke is averaging 12.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in 21.7 minutes for the Grizzlies this season. He's shooting 62.3 percent from the field, 40.4 percent from beyond the arc and 78.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Grizzlies, behind the stellar play of rookie point guard Ja Morant and second-year big man Jaren Jackson Jr., are 28-29 on the season. They are in eighth place in the rugged Western Conference standings.

Morant, who is the front-runner for the 2020 Rookie of the Year Award, is putting up 17.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 51 games this season. Jackson — who like Clarke, is hurt — is averaging 16.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
