The Memphis Grizzlies and Chandler Parsons continue to work their way towards a reconciliation, as head coach JB Bickerstaff has announced that the team plans to let the disgruntled forward play tomorrow night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Parsons has been medically cleared by team doctors since November last year, but the Grizzlies front office did not allow him to play for the team after he refused to play for Memphis' G-League affiliate, Memphis Hustle.

Parsons' camp became upset about how the Grizzlies handled their situation, and it led to the decision of both sides to part ways.

During the trade deadline, the Grizzlies tried to look for a trade partner that will be willing to acquire Parsons. Unfortunately for them, no one wanted to absorb his contract that's still worth $38 million over the next two years.

The Grizzlies had no intention of using the stretch provision on Parsons, as they don't want a large amount of dead money to have an impact on their long-term future.

Memphis ultimately dealt Marc Gasol to the Toronto Raptors and will look to move guard Mike Conley this summer. Obviously, they know that the only way for them to be able to find a trade partner for Parsons is to let him play and hope that he's the same player that they signed to a four-year $96 million contract two years ago.

As for Parsons, this is his opportunity to redeem himself and prove to everyone that he's at least capable of becoming a player that's worthy of almost a hundred million.
