The Memphis Grizzlies did what they could to potentially move Chandler Parsons and his contract at the trade deadline, but, not surprisingly, they were not able to find any takers.

Given the fact that Parsons will remain on the Grizzlies' roster for at least the remainder of the season, it would probably be a good idea to play him if he's healthy to potentially build up whatever value he has left.

That is exactly what Memphis is going to do.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Grizzlies and Parsons have agreed on a plan for the wing to join the re-join the team after the All-Star break, which will mark his first action since the end of October.

The Grizzlies signed Parsons to a four-year, $95 million contract during the summer of 2016, but since then, Parsons has only played 73 games with Memphis due to persistent knee issues.

Parsons has undergone two knee surgeries in his career, with both of the procedures coming during his short two-year stint with the Dallas Mavericks.

He has not been the same ever since, going from one of the league's top three-and-D small forwards to someone who can't even stay on the court.

Parsons spent the first three years of his NBA career with the Houston Rockets, breaking out during his second season when he averaged 15.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and one steal per game.

He was the even better the following year, registering 16.6 points, 5.5 boards, four assists and 1.2 steals a night, leading to him signing with the Mavericks that offseason.
