Andre Iguodala's beef with the Memphis Grizzlies and their young core of players was well-publicized this week. It apparently hasn't ended yet, as Dillon Brooks continued to take shots at Iguodala even after he was traded to Miami Heat on Wednesday.

After the team's game against the Dallas Mavericks, Brooks pulled no punches when talking about the Grizzlies' acquisition of Justise Winslow and parting with the disgruntled veteran.

“We've still got to move on. We've still got to handle business on our end. You know, we're getting a good player too in Justice (Winslow),” Brooks said per Tim MacMahon of ESPN. “…Now we have a player that we’re getting that actually wants to play with us and thinks we’re good.”

The Grizzlies traded for 2015 NBA Finals MVP prior to the season. However, the 36-year-old wing reached an agreement with the team to sit out the 2019-20 campaign as the team try to find a trade partner for him.

To everyone's surprise, the Grizzlies have been a dark horse team in the Western Conference. Nonetheless, Iguodala still reiterated that he wanted to be traded to one of his preferred destinations.

Reacting to Iguodala's refusal to play, Brooks made some controversial comments this week and dismissed Iggy's importance to the team.

“It’s not a distraction at all,” Dillon Brooks said. “I laugh at that type of stuff. A guy that’s on our team that doesn’t want to be on our team, I can’t wait until we find a way to trade him so we can play him and show him what really Memphis is about.”

On Wednesday, Iguodala was traded to the Heat in exchange for Winslow, a 23-year-old wing and former top-10 pick. In the said trade, Andre Iguodala agreed to sign a two-year, $30 million extension with the Heat.
