Head coach Taylor Jenkins and the Memphis Grizzlies didn't need to draw an astounding play to win Game 5 of their playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After all, for them, Ja Morant is THE play.

The Grizzlies guard shared as much on Tuesday after his last second layup gave Memphis the 111-109 victory and the 3-2 series lead. When asked to break down that final play, Morant kept it simple: “Go get a bucket, Ja.”

That's not a bad play at all. Hey, it won the game for the Grizzlies!

It is in clutch situations where go-to players and superstars come in. Even though a lot has been said about the Grizzlies being a better team without Ja Morant, the fact of the matter is his presence makes them scarier. And as the Timberwolves saw on Tuesday, they were way deadlier.

It is also not as if Morant only scored the winning shot. He stepped up in the fourth after a rather poor showing through the first three quarters, scoring 18 of his 30 points in the final frame–including the team's last 13 points.

Fans also got to love Morant's confident and swagger. That is exactly what Memphis needs if they want to close out the series in Game 6.
