Memphis Grizzlies rookie point guard Ja Morant sent a direct message to Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry after the two exchanged social media shots over Andre Iguodala.

Morant liked a tweet on Twitter which read, “f**k Iguodala.” After the Grizzlies defeated the Detroit Pistons on Monday, Dillon Brooks told reporters he can’t wait for Memphis to trade the former Finals MVP so he can face him and show him what Memphis basketball is all about.

Morant saw Brook’s quote on Twitter and agreed with it. That's when Curry took to social media to brag about how Iguodala has a Finals MVP on his résumé.

Before the season started, no one picked the Grizzlies to make the playoffs in the rugged Western Conference. That's why Memphis has been a great story this season so far.

Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. have been special all season long and they have raised hopes of better basketball years in a city that has not seen a lot of success since the Grit-and-Grind era.

Morant will probably win NBA Rookie of the Year this season, as he is currently averaging 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 44 games while shooting 49.2 percent overall, 38.5 percent from the 3-point line and 78.1 percent from the charity stripe.

Morant put up 12 points, four rebounds and seven assists against the Pistons on Monday. The Grizzlies won by a final score of 96-82 to improve to 25-25 on the season.
