Ja Morant busted out his best Stephen Curry impression in Saturday's Game 3 bout between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors. Morant beat the halftime buzzer with a heave from halfcourt that even the great Steph Curry would be proud of.

With just 2.1 seconds remaining in the second quarter, the Grizzlies superstar received the ball on the opposite side of their court. Morant then went on to take an audacious attempt beyond the halfcourt line. Epicness ensued (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

This was the perfect way for Morant to close out what turned out to be a scorching-hot first half for him. This was the Grizzlies All-Star's fourth triple of the half as he closed out the opening first two periods with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting and 4-of-6 from distance.

It wasn't just Morant who caught fire early in this game. The Grizzlies actually started off this contest with no less than six triples in the first five minutes of the first quarter. Memphis is giving Curry and the Warriors a dose of their own medicine here, and in their own home court, no less.

Nevertheless, it was still the Warriors who entered halftime with the lead, 64-57.
