Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant had a monster outing, arguably the best game of his young career, in their 121-110 home victory over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. Morant finished his night with 26 points and eight assists, and shot an extremely efficient 10-of-11 from the field.

According to NBA.com Stats, the 20-year old guard became just the fourth rookie in NBA history to have 25-point, 5-assist, game, while going over 90 percent from the field.

In addition, per Grizzlies PR, this year's 2nd overall pick became the first rookie in league history to record 25-plus points, 8-plus assists, and shoot over 90 percent from the field in a single game.

If there was one game we can look back on as Ja Morant's defining game of his rookie campaign, it could be this one.

He simply made Tuesday night his own personal highlight showcase. The rookie was all over the floor and had a huge impact especially on the offensive end. Plus, it helps that it came against an elite team like the Rockets.

Morant crossed up and froze his defenders, made some slick and difficult passes and had strong finishes at the rim. He even knocked down a couple of three-pointers over Rockets star James Harden, who just straight-up dared him to shoot. One of them, a big step-back three, came at a crucial time of the game, which extended Memphis' lead to nine with a little over two minutes remaining.

The Grizzlies are streaking and have won six straight games. This is largely in part to Morant's impressive all-around play and efficiency. Over this stretch, he is averaging 19.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 9.2 assists, while shooting 60.8 percent from the field, 40 percent from deep, and 89.5 percent from the line.

The Grizzlies have truly found themselves a keeper with this kid.
