No blues for the Memphis Grizzlies these days, as they have now strung up 10 straight wins after beating the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night. They are currently riding their longest winning streak in team history.

As he's done all season, Ja Morant was special for the Grizzlies, finishing with 29 points, five rebounds, and eight assists. Aside from the Warriors, they have also beaten other tough teams amid their smoldering run, including the Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Los Angeles Lakers twice.

This has prompted ESPN host Stephen A. Smith to apologize on Twitter for his grave injustice to the Grizzlies.

“My apologies to the @memgrizz. I have slept on these brothers. I know @JaMorant is special, but I love their size, athleticism, depth and perimeter shooting. This team is a legitimate threat in the West. They have my attention.”

For sure, Smith wasn't alone in underestimating the Grizzlies when the season began. But with a more controlled Morant running the show and the likes of Jaren Jackson Jr., Steven Adams, Kyle Anderson, and Desmond Bane providing consistent support, they have definitely put the NBA on notice.

The Grizzlies have dealt with a slew of injuries this season too, with Morant, Dillon Brooks, and DeAnthony Melton getting sidelined for an extended time. But still, they have found ways to win.

They are now at 29-14 and will try to make it 11 wins in a row on Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
