The Memphis Grizzlies came away with a 120-110 win over the Houston Rockets on Monday, but ironically, one of the best plays of the game came right after the final buzzer. Ja Morant saved his best for last as he came up with an insane slam to punctuate their win over the Rockets.

Here's a look at Morant sending in an early entry for next year's Dunk Contest (h/t Wobsell Westbrook on Twitter):

Morant casually pulled off a between-the-legs tomahawk slam and he made it look so easy. At this point, this has become something we've come to expect from Morant.

Ja actually had a pretty pedestrian outing on Monday, finishing with 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting to go along with five rebounds, eight assists, and one three-pointer. It was Jonas Valanciunas that led the charge for the Grizzlies, logging a monster 30-point, 15-rebound double-double in the win.

This was Memphis' first victory in their last three games after falling to the Utah Jazz twice on Friday and Saturday. The Jazz have the best record in the NBA right now, so losing two straight against them isn't anything to be ashamed about for the Grizzlies.

Morant and Co. will be back in action on Wednesday against the mighty Jazz (again) as they continue to hunt for a playoff spot in what has become an extremely tight race in the Western Conference.
