Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant was cleared for takeoff on Wednesday, as he found himself all alone in a fastbreak against the Atlanta Hawks.

In the midst of a blowout win against the Hawks at State Farm Arena, the reigning NBA Rookie of the Year decided to have some fun with less than five minutes remaining in the third period. Grizzlies forward Kyle Anderson was actually leading the fastbreak and could have had an easy lay-up for himself.

But knowing full well that his trailing teammate could leap out of the building, he decided to bounce the ball off the glass. Morant did the rest, catching it mid-air before putting the jaw-dropping highlight with a sick two-handed hammer.

That jam was so nice, it sent the Grizzlies bench into a collective frenzy, as they imitated Morant's sky-walking antics.

The Grizzlies eventually ran away with an easy 131-113 victory, extending their winning streak to four games. Apart from having the best highlight of the match, Morant finished with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and added seven boards and six dimes in 31 minutes.

Ja Morant and the Grizzlies have been on a roll as of late, moving to eighth place in the Western Conference with a 25-23 slate.
