Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. is proving to be a solid NBA player, but at just 19 years of age, he still can't check into some hotels on his own.

Jackson sent out a tweet on Tuesday morning to share the news that he was unable to check in to a hotel. He later sent out another tweet, which showed his bags of luggage resting in the hotel's lobby:

With the 2019 NBA Draft looming (Thursday), Jackson is celebrating his one-year anniversary with the Grizzlies, who drafted the former Michigan State standout with the No. 4 overall pick.

By most accounts, Jackson played well in his first season of service with the Grizzlies, despite the fact that the team failed to reach the postseason. As Michael Wallace points out in his recent article for NBA.com, Jackson became the first rookie in league history to record at least 50 blocks, 50 steals, 50 made three-pointers and shoot at least 50 percent from the field.

In his 58 appearances with the Grizzlies during their 2018-19 campaign (56 starts), Jackson racked up averages of 13.8 points on 50.6 percent shooting from the field (35.9 percent from beyond the arc), 4.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.4 blocks and just under one steal (0.9) in 26.1 minutes per outing.

Although the Grizzlies are admittedly in a rebuilding phase, the team's future looks bright with Jaren Jackson Jr. on the roster. Let's see what next season holds for Grind City.
