Memphis Grizzlies center Joakim Noah has one of the ugliest jump shots in NBA history, which makes it even more satisfying for the former Defensive Player of the Year when he hits a shot from the perimeter.

Noah has the “Tornado” jump shot as most people call it. He gets made fun of a lot by fans when he shoots, but when he makes it, the two-time All-Star has a nifty celebration where he flashes two guns.

Now 34, Noah is appreciative of the chance the Grizzlies took on him and says it's a good feeling to hit jumpers because of all the haters he has.

“It’s always a good feeling to hit jump shots because I have a lot of haters, so my jump shot’s a little bit unorthodox and I’ve been away from the game and a lot of people had a lot of shit to say about me,” Noah said, via Omari Sankofa of The Athletic. “So now it’s just, to be able to have an opportunity to, it’s better than talking back to anybody than to be on the court and compete and do your thing. I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

In 40 games with the Grizzlies, Joakim Noah is averaging 7.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 52.2 percent from the field.

Noah has four double-doubles and re-established himself as a serviceable NBA player. It will be interesting to see what type of free agent market Joakim has this summer.
