Memphis Grizzlies star Marc Gasol can add another record to his career. Gasol is now the all-time leader in rebounds in Grizzlies history.

Gasol has been the footprint and staple of the franchise since his rights were traded to the team from the Los Angeles Lakers. Ironically, the Lakers traded for his brother, Pau Gasol.

Gasol was selected in the second round with the 48th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.

He captured this franchise record in a win versus the Sacramento Kings. Gasol finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds and two assists. For his career, Gasol is averaging 15.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.5 blocks per game. He is shooting 48.6 percent from the field and 35.1 percent from three.

Gasol already has a number or career milestones, records and awards. He can just add to his collection.

He is a three time all-star and also NBA defensive player of the year back in 2013. At the age of 33, he is still in the prime of career, it will be cool to see what other milestones and records he will be breaking for the rest of his career.

As for the Grizzlies, the season is long, and the franchise is certainly hoping to return to the playoffs with a good mix of veterans and young players.
