It looks like the Memphis Grizzlies are going to wear the throwback Vancouver Grizzlies jerseys on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Grizzlies played in Vancouver, British Columbia from 1995-2001 before moving to Memphis:

Memphis, led by rookie point guard Ja Morant, is 5-8 on the season through 13 games. Morant has been nothing short of spectacular. He's averaging 18.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game while shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 42.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Morant spoiled Mike Conley's return to Memphis last week. Ja led the Grizzlies to a 107-106 win over the Utah Jazz by putting up 25 points and eight assists. He outplayed Conley, who finished with 15 points and three assists.

The Grizzlies aren't expected to compete for a playoff spot this season. This year is all about developing Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Dillon Brooks and Brandon Clarke.

Saturday should be a fun night in Memphis. LeBron James and Anthony Davis will be in town, and the Grizzlies will be sporting one of the best jerseys in all of sports.

Memphis will look to defeat the Lakers after LA beat them in Los Angeles. The Lakers defeated the Grizzlies on Oct. 29 by a final score of 120-91.
