Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley says he tells his Jazz teammates all the time how good of a player Memphis Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr. can be.

The Grizzlies are building the franchise around Ja Morant and Jackson Jr. now that both Conley and Marc Gasol are gone.

“I rant and rave about (Jackson) even to my teammates in Utah, about how good of a person he is and how good of a player he can be,” Conley said, via The Daily Memphian. “The sky is the limit for them.”

Jaren Jackson Jr. averaged 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.4 blocks in 58 games last season for the Grizzlies while shooting 50.6 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from beyond the arc and 76.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Memphis is hoping Morant and Jackson Jr. turn out to be Mike Conley-Marc Gasol 2.0. Jackson Jr. is a hard worker and it's only a matter of time until he figures the NBA game out and puts it all together. He’s got the size to do it all, but the skill to do it all as well.

The Grizzlies will be rebuilding next season, as it's doubtful Morant and Jackson Jr. can lead Memphis to the playoffs in the rugged Western Conference.
