After a long flight from Memphis to Miami in between games, the Grizzlies players can't wait to get to their hotel rooms and call it a night while lying down on their beds. However, for Chandler Parsons and Marc Gasol, they even had to spend more time traveling to their rooms.

That's because they got stuck inside an elevator, and had to wait for a few minutes to get out of it.

The oft-injured small forward documented their experience when he took to his Snapchat account. Despite already being the wee hours and very tired, he and Gasol still found a way to just laugh it off and joke around while waiting for the elevator to be opened, via the uploaded video by Sports Illustrated.

The Grizzlies were in South Beach on Saturday after facing the Cleveland Cavaliers the night before. Chandler Parsons and Marc Gasol were the last to head up, but may have learned their lesson now to not waste time and just go directly to their rooms instead to avoid getting stuck in an elevator in the future.

Already having one of their worst seasons in franchise history, the Grizzlies were blown out for the second consecutive night, this time via a 115-89 defeat from the Miami Heat. Both players missed the game due to injury, and weren't able to help their team earn a rare victory and improve their record for the year.

Memphis has now lost nine straight outings, and without Parsons, Gasol and Mike Conley, the team appears to be headed further downhill, and will most likely finish at the bottom half of the standings in the Western Conference.

If anything, that elevator ride was a metaphor for Memphis' season so far. Hopefully for the team, someone will come around too and help extricate the Grizzlies before they plunge further down.

Up ahead for Memphis is a road game on Monday against the Boston Celtics.
