After being left for a wide-open 3-pointer, Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies had some choice words for Houston Rockets star James Harden.

Peep the clip below featuring Harden and Morant. Morant was left wide open for the pull-up 3-pointer. Harden was nowhere near him to contest it. And from the looks of it, he wasn't fully aware that Morant has a reliable shot from deep.

After nailing the bomb from deep, Ja Morant wanted Harden to know that he can ball. He may be a rookie but he can surely compete with the elites.

Morant, the second overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, is the leading candidate for Rookie of the Year according to various analysts. The 20-year-old is averaging 17.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists across 29.5 minutes of action.

More than his numbers, he has gained the trust of Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins. It's a feat that not all rookies achieve. And Morant is proving to everyone that he's the best player in his batch.
