Memphis Grizzlies rookie sensation Ja Morant was able to cross up Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell on Friday night. Morant was able to then dish the ball off to center Jonas Valanciunas who made the basket despite being fouled.

Although it hasn't converted to many wins just yet (5-12), Morant, the second overall pick in this year's NBA draft, has shown the star power the Grizzlies desperately needed.

The former Murray State star is averaging a team-leading 19.1 points per game to go along with 6.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds despite playing less than 30 minutes per game.

Morant and the Grizzlies will next face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday at 3:30 EST.
