Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant is not looking like a rookie at all in the 2019-20 NBA regular season. The second overall pick of this year’s draft once again dazzled fans inside the FedEx Forum on Friday in their team’s match against the Utah Jazz.

Morant received a pass from Kyle Anderson and proceed to turn on the jets at the nine-minute mark of the second quarter.

With defender Emmanuel Mudiay waiting for him to make his move, the 20-year-old guard went inside his bag of tricks and delivered with a nasty behind the back before scoring with a nifty right-handed scoop off the window.

Morant has bounced back nicely after a slow start to his pro-career, giving the rebuilding Grizzlies reason to get excited for the coming years.

He is holding his own against the Grizzlies’ former long-time point guard Mike Conley in their first match up of the season.

Morant is averaging 18.3points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists, while shooting 48.3 percent from the field and 44.4 from deep in 10 games.
