Memphis Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr. is only in the midst of his second season. After an impressive rookie campaign, the former Spartans standout is really starting to grasp the NBA game as well.

Jackson Jr.'s latest feat came on Monday evening against the New Orleans Pelicans. Jackson made sure to assert his dominance against Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball. Unfortunately for Ball, he became the victim of a massive Jackson Jr. chase-down block.

The second-year player is leading a surprising season for the Grizzlies. If the regular season ended today, the Grizzlies would be in the Western Conference playoff picture. Thanks to the play of Jackson Jr. and rookie Ja Morant, the Grizzlies have quickly become a force.

As the Grizzlies try to clinch their first playoff berth in three seasons, Jackson will look to continue his strong play.
