The Definitive Editions of Grand Theft Auto San AndreasGrand Theft Auto III, and Grand Theft Auto Vice City, the GTA Trilogy Remastered release date is finally revealed. And it's coming way sooner than we would have expected.

GTA Trilogy Remastered Release Date: November 11, 2021

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition releases on November 11, 2021, on PC, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The game will also come out on Android and iOS within the first half of 2022.

The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition features a better-looking Vice City, Liberty City, and San Andreas. After almost two decades, it's high time we return to the peak of the series: back when Grand Theft Auto revolutionized what a 3D action-adventure could be, and effectively popularized the open-world adventure genre. The remasters are done through a partnership between Grove Street Games and Rockstar Games.

Being a remaster, fans would usually expect nothing more than just simple visual enhancements. However, the GTA Trilogy Remastered apparently has more than just that. The improvements include a rebuilt lighting system, upgraded vehicle and character models, new HUDs, improved shadows, reflections, and draw distances. There will also be gyro and touchscreen support for the Nintendo Switch version. Next-gen versions will display at 4K resolution at 60 FPS, while the PC version will support Nvidia DLSS.

Players who have yet to play these games or do not yet own these games will mostly be forced to experience the entire GTA Trilogy through this remaster if they are looking for new, original copies. This is because Rockstar Games pulled out all of the existing versions of the games from digital storefronts back in October, a move criticized by audiences and critics alike.
