GT has produced six different player-of-the-match players in the last seven wins. This shows that GT has it all. Shubman Gill has played only two impressive innings so far. Wriddhiman Saha has stabilized GT's opening a little bit. But the middle order is still heavily dependent on Hardik's patience.
The same story repeats itself every season for RCB. They start winning early and end up in the lower half of the points table. Despite having all the power in the batting unit, they keep failing to perform. This game is a do-or-die for RCB to keep hopes alive for the playoffs.
It seems like DK's batting position is too low to make an impact. As if RCB team management is hoping for a failure from the top order. DK can be more helpful at the number 5 position than 7 or 8. It is high time for RCB to bring Siddharth Kaul in place of Mohammad Siraj. One good game does not justify the poor performance of Siraj in the IPL 2022.
