Hassan Whiteside wanted to call out Jonas Valanciunas but in the process, he proved something else.

Whiteside called Valanciunas a “Grammy award winning actor” after the Heat's narrow two-point loss to the Raptors last night. Apparently Whiteside isn't too familiar with award shows.

Of course, the Grammy's are for musical talents so Whiteside's comments don't really make sense, but we get the picture.

Whiteside was voicing some frustration after the Heat dropped a key game that now leaves them a game back of the Pacers for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Whiteside struggled for most of the night against the Raptors, being held to 4-of-14 shooting and just 12 points and 10 rebounds and five fouls in 27 minutes. Valanciunas wasn't too much better with a slightly more efficient nine points and 10 boards.

Flopping is seemingly a part of every NBA game now and international big men are possibly the most notorious for committing the act. Whiteside felt Valanciunas fell into this category last night. He may be right but this occurrence is far from unique if he is.
