Hassan Whiteside gets motivated by his fish tank every morning

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside reveals that he gets particularly motivated every morning by the fish he has in his fish tank.

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside has become somewhat of an aquarium buff.

He's shown as much on his Instagram page that he has found a new love as a hobby. He is a self proclaimed fish lover and admires what they do all day, swim.

Whiteside said he gets up and looks at his fish tank for motivation.

I eat breakfast and I get motivated. I look at my fishtank. I get even more motivated. I look at Spo’s face. I get even more motivated

I get even more motivated. Why? The way they can swim all day and not do nothing.

Whiteside loves fish tanks so much, he contacted the producers of the Animal Planet series, Tanked (who installs over-the-top fish tanks in celebrity homes), and asked if he could have one.

The result was a brand new custom 1,500-gallon tank in his new $7 million home.

In fact there is a real possibility that he could appear on the show soon, but that isn't certain.
