The offseason free agency rumor frenzy is well underway with just a couple days left before the 2017 NBA Draft. Lots of rumors and potential trade deals are leaking through the media, but not too many have become official yet aside from the Philadelphia Sixers acquiring the #1 pick and the Lakers trading D'Angelo Russell to the Brooklyn Nets while offloading Timofey Mozgov‘s massive contract. This is a prime time for a lot of Twitter buzz from NBA enthusiasts.

However, this season there was an unexpected twist in the NBA chatter. Team social media accounts couldn't resist the pressure of getting involved with the trade rumor hype, so a few of the team's social teams got together and proposed some hilarious trade scenarios for each other publically.

So far, the Atlanta Hawks, the Charlotte Hornets, and the Los Angeles Clippers engaged in some wild trade proposals. After hearing from many fans via mentions about who should stay and who should go, the Hawks took a public stand on what they should do to appease their fans.

Paul Millsap is the team's lone 2017 All-Star who may be in a new home next season, so the Hawks aren't feeling the love. That doesn't mean they are alone.

That's where the wild trade chatter gained more traction.

Look at how easy this is, especially when no one is playing hardball. It was such a sweatless move, that the Clippers couldn't help but co-sign the move.

If you were wondering if it could go even further, the Hawks all but confirmed that; they stated the Clippers were, in fact, speaking nothing but the truth.

At this point, the Hornets were ready to bite on the deal, but they wanted one small addition and we'd have our first twitter trade ever.

Of course, the Hawks threw in a nice counter offer that surely wasn't a deal breaker.

Looks like there was no need to go any further after the last term was laid out and accepted.

If at any point your team is moving a bit slow on the trade front, just point them to how easily they can get a deal done by the use of public, verified Twitter accounts
