Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Allen Crabbe was arrested for driving under the influence on the Sunset Strip of West Hollywood late Tuesday night, according to TMZ Sports.

Police noticed the 27-year-old was “straddling lanes” around 11:30 p.m, at which point the officer behind him pulled him over, suspecting he was drunk.

Crabbe was asked to step out of the car for a field sobriety test, and while he didn't appear to be massively intoxicated (based on the video) police felt he was under the influence.

Police said he blew a .08 on the breathalyzer, which is exact legal limit in the state of California. Crabbe was arrested shortly after and booked for a misdemeanor DUI.

According to TMZ, Crabbe couldn't have been more cooperative with police, willingly taking every instruction given by the field officers. The former Brooklyn Nets swingman was taken to a nearby police station in which he was held for a few hours. Now in the process of being released.

A person close to Crabbe said the Los Angeles native was back in town to work with the Frederick K.C. Price III Christian School in South Central — school he attended, which was founded by his grandfather and one he's volunteered time and money over the years.

Crabbe was traded to the Hawks earlier this month for Taurean Prince, as the Nets hoped to move his hefty $18.5 million salary to Atlanta.
