The Atlanta Hawks and undrafted guard Jaylen Adams have agreed on an NBA deal with a partial guarantee for next season, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Jaylen Adams has appeared in just 10 games off the bench for the Hawks this season, spending the majority of his time in the G League as a member of the Erie BayHawks. Adams has been battling a right ankle injury as of late, but is likely to be cleared in time to suit up for Thursday's contest versus the New York Knicks.

Adams came to the Hawks after spending four years at St. Bonaventure. A star during his time at the collegiate level, Adams started 108 of the 110 games he appeared in and averaged 17.4 points, 5.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals across 36.3 minutes of action.

His high-level production led to him being named First-team All-Atlantic 10 in each of his final three years on campus. During his senior year, in which he shot 43.6 percent from deep, he was named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Year (alongside Peyton Aldridge, who plays professionally in Italy) and an honorable mention AP All-American.

He has impressed during his time in the G League this season, averaging 14.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. Adams has not yet gotten the green light to deploy that offensive arsenal with Atlanta, having scored just 13 points across 45 minutes in 10 games with the club.

As the Hawks make a push toward a youthful roster, it appears Adams is in the plans moving forward.
