In a move geared towards filling post-trade deadline roster vacancies, the Atlanta Hawks are planning to sign Antonius Cleveland to a 10-day contract, according to a report from Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

Cleveland, now 24 years of age, is a 6-6 guard who played four years at Southeast Missouri State, where he appeared in 121 career games, averaging 12.9 points, 4.7 boards and two assists in 28.8 minutes.

After going undrafted in 2017, Cleveland spent some time with the Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Golden State Warriors in training camp and Summer League play. The Memphis native has also served stints with the Santa Cruz Warriors (Warriors affiliate) and Texas Legends (Mavericks affiliate) in the G-League.

Cleveland played in six games with the Santa Cruz Warriors and one game with the Texas Legends. Over the course of that span, he racked up averages of 13.6 points on 53.8 percent shooting from the field (50.0 percent from beyond the arc), 3.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.7 steals in 26.4 minutes per contest — all while knocking down 82.6 percent of his free throws.

In total, Cleveland made 13 appearances with the Mavericks this season, but his time on the court was limited. Exactly how the Hawks will choose to utilize his services remains to be seen.

The Hawks, now the 5th-ranked team in the Southeast Division standings with an 18-41 overall record, will be back in action on Friday night, as they're scheduled to face the Indiana Pacers inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. EST with FOX Sports Southeast and FOX Sports Indiana having live broadcast coverage. Until then, have a go at some of Cleveland's highlights.
