One of the most underrated debates in life aside from Is It OK To Post Avocado Toast On Instagram Every Day? is this: Who's Better Between Trae Young and Luka Doncic?

The two talented guards will forever be linked as they were traded for each other during the 2018 NBA Draft. After their rookie year, it was clear that the Dallas Mavericks got the better end of the deal with Doncic. But after last season, with Young carrying the Atlanta Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals, the answer isn't so clear-cut anymore.

If you ask Hawks center Clint Capela, comparing Young to Doncic is already as ridiculous as posting avocado toast on Instagram every day (via Sports Illustrated).

“(Trae) knows how to control the game. People like to compare him to Luka, but at the end of their careers, all we're gonna remember is who won the most. Like Kobe (Bryant) and (Allen Iverson). Kobe won, so that's the difference right there. That's what will make (Trae) extremely special. One of the greats.”

Did he just say Doncic will never win anything? And Iverson isn't special?

There is, however, truth to Capela's comments. For all his dazzling performances, Doncic has yet to make it far in the NBA Playoffs in back-to-back stints. Young, meanwhile, in only his first postseason stint almost made it to the NBA Finals with a less-heralded roster.

Like Clint Capela, Hawks coach Nate McMillan said Trae Young has now learned how to control the game, and it will only be a matter of time when he leads the team to the championship.
