It didn't take too long for new Atlanta Hawks recruit Lou Williams to get accustomed to his new team. On Thursday, the three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner made his debut for the Hawks, and unsurprisingly, Sweet Lou picked up right where he left off.

Williams scored his first bucket for the Hawks early in the second period as Atlanta faced off against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday (h/t Hawks on Twitter):

In case you forgot, this is not Williams' first dance in Atlanta. He played two seasons for the Hawks between 2012 and 2014. The vet has been around the block quite a bit, with Williams playing for no less than six different NBA teams throughout his career.

It's not all about scoring for Williams as well. He busted out his passing skills on his debut as well with this sweet behind the back dish to a wide-open Clint Capela:

Williams arrived in Atlanta just right before the trade deadline. The Hawks sent Rajon Rondo to the Los Angeles Clippers, who for their part also included two future second-round picks as part of the package.

The Hawks are currently battling for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and the arrival of a guy like Williams should certainly help their cause.
