After the spate of offseason moves by the Atlanta Hawks, sharpshooting guard Trae Young believes that the team made a ‘home run at every position.'

Per the Washington Post, Young — who's about the enter his second year in the league — shared his thoughts on the Hawks' offseason moves particularly in the NBA Draft. The Hawks selected De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish in the first round — two wings who can comfortably play the guard and forward spot. Young said that the moves were a:

“Home run at every position we need.”

Last season, Young already established an efficient pick-and-roll team up with big man John Collins. With Young on the squad, Collins nearly doubled his average to 19.5 points per game from 10.5 points two years ago. He also shot 56 percent from the field, 76.3 percent from the free-throw line, and 34.8 percent from deep.

Now, Lloyd Pierce's team — which heavily relies on efficient 3-point shooting — will have more tools to operate. The Collins-Young pick-and-roll is already a staple part in their system. With Hunter and Reddish on the team — both of which are decent shooters with tremendous upside to improve — the Hawks simply have gotten better.

Between the two, Hunter should be the one to look at as the 21-year-old shot 43.8 percent from deep last season with Virginia. And he doesn't just shoot from deep with impressive consistency. He also knocks it down even at clutch moments.
