Over the past month-and-a-half, Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young has been balling his brains out with his stellar play and eye-popping numbers – including a 49-point outing in a quadruple-overtime thriller against Chicago, and a triple-double in their recent loss to Brooklyn on Sunday.

With how he's been playing since February, many already see the potential star that Young could be in this league. Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype asked the 20-year old guard about how good he thinks he can be someday. Young answered that he doesn't want to set a limit for himself.

“I don’t like setting a limit on it. I feel like I can be as good as I want to be. I don’t know what [my ceiling] is, but I want there to be a lot of championships involved and maybe a couple of MVPs (laughs). I never like to set a bar for myself, though, because I feel like I can go as far as I want to go – God willing.”

At some point during the season, when Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic was having his own insane run of eye-popping numbers, clutch baskets, and game winners, Young received a lot of heat for being the player that the Hawks stupidly traded for the Slovenian Sensation. However, with how he's been playing over the past couple of months, the Hawks sharp-shooting floor general has silenced all the doubters.

Still, there is no way to predict how good the former Oklahoma standout would be in the future. Nonetheless, he has shown us flashes throughout his recently scorching hot stretch.

Ice Trae averaged 23.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 9.3 assists in 12 games in February, which were good enough to earn him the Eastern Conference Player of the Month. So far in March, he has upped his scoring further to 25.2 points per game, while adding 5.8 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per contest.
