Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young and big man John Collins have been upgraded to probable for their game against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night, according to Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Both Young and Collins have been dealing with illnesses over the last week. However, the Hawks have not played since defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, so both guys have had plenty of time to rest up.

Young is in his first NBA season and has struggled, averaging 16 points, 7.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds over 29.6 minutes per game while shooting just 39.7 percent from the floor, 29.5 percent from three-point range and 79.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Known for his Stephen Curry-type range at the University of Oklahoma, Young has had difficult finding his footing from beyond the arc during his rookie campaign, although he has been quite a bit better in January, making 37.8 percent of his triples this month.

Young was originally selected by the Dallas Mavericks with the fifth overall pick of the NBA Draft but was immediately traded to the Hawks for Luka Doncic.

Collins is in his second season, and when he hasn't been plagued by ankle injuries, he has been outstanding, registering 19.1 points, 10.4 boards and 2.4 assists across 30 minutes a night while making 58.2 percent of his field-goal attempts, 33.3 percent of his long-distance tries and 71.2 percent of his foul shots.

However, Collins has played in just 28 games this season due to pesky ankle issues.

The Hawks currently own a record of 14-30 but have gone a respectable 5-6 over their last 11 contests.
