The Atlanta Hawks are listing All-Star point guard Trae Young as questionable to face the New York Knicks on Sunday.

Young has a right ankle contusion:

The Hawks are 14-39 on the season. They are in 14th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Young has appeared in 47 games this season. He's averaging 29.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 9.0 assists while shooting 44.5 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Young will be starting in the All-Star game in Chicago this season. He's on team Giannis.

The Hawks likely will miss the playoffs this season. They got off to a terrible start. However, the acquisition of center Clint Capela has Atlanta buzzing at the moment. The high-flyer figures to mesh really well with Young, who is already one of the best passers in the NBA despite being only a second-year pro.
