The Atlanta Hawks might've fallen to under .500 on Friday night in a loss to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, but superstar Trae Young reached quite an impressive feat in the process.

After dropping 34 points and dishing out 10 dimes, Trae officially hit 100 double-doubles in his NBA career:

Yes, obviously they're not triple-doubles, but this is still a remarkable accomplishment. It's a testament to the Hawks star's ability to not only score at a high level but also facilitate the rock.

Coming into the league, Young was mostly known for his three-point shooting and passing. That skill set has fully transferred over to the league but Trae has also improved his offensive output around the hoop as well.

The Hawks guard really showed out against Denver, but it wasn't enough to grab a victory. He was clearly feeling himself after proposing to his girlfriend, Shelby Miller, on Thursday.

On the season, Young is averaging 27 points and 9.3 assists per night on 38% shooting from downtown. Atlanta is just 14-15 though but as we know, they started out slow in the first half last season too then came alive after the All-Star Break and made a run all the way to the conference finals.

Trae will be looking to lead the Hawks to that point and hopefully, beyond in 2022. They will need lots more double-doubles from him in order for this goal to be fulfilled.
