While it's just the preseason, it'd be hard to notice with the effort John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks gave as he climbed the ladder on Wednesday night while putting Jarrett Allen on a poster.

The clip went viral, and the one they call “The Baptist” for the Hawks certainly did some baptizing on the dunk. Trae Young decided to chime in as well.

Poor Jarrett Allen was just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time as Collins elevated up and over for the flush. In the exhibition, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers who got the last laugh as they beat the Hawks 99-96. While nobody cares about final scores in the preseason, clips like this live on for quite some time.

Collins was a big piece of the puzzle for the Hawks last year as they made a run to the Eastern Conference Finals before being booted by the Milwaukee Bucks. He was set to be a restricted free agent this offseason with plenty of offers but Atlanta inked him to a new 5-year, $125 million deal.

Atlanta will keep its core intact for the long haul and with Young and Collins running the show, the Hawks will look to continue to take the next step as they plan on being a serious threat in the Eastern Conference.
