Looks like Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young is following Ja Morant's lead. Players around the NBA are looking for ways to stay busy amidst the suspension of their season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Morant had previously tweeted out the idea he was going to “turn into a gamer” as the players observe quarantine:

Young is embracing his inner gamer. He tweeted out a picture of him gearing up for some PlayStation action on Friday night.

Some might say Young is a “video game player” when he is on the court. The All-Star starter dazzles fans with logo-range three-pointers to go along with a spectacular handle and excellent court vision.

Young has even made a habit of throwing the ball between the legs of opposing defenders. He recently tried to nutmeg Portland Trail Blazers veteran Trevor Ariza, who was not having any of Young's flair.

But Young is not about to stop looking for opportunities to entertain (via Sarah K. Spencer of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution):

“I use it to create space, I use it for my advantage,” Young said. “(Ariza) can call it what (he wants)… it’s not to showboat, it’s flair and excitement. It’s basketball and entertainment. … Ain’t gotta be serious 24/7. You can smile, you can have fun, you can engage with the crowd, you can flex, you can do whatever you want. Have fun with it.”

Young has become one of the most exciting players in the NBA, and he is having a historic sophomore season. Young was averaging 29.6 points, 9.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds prior to the suspension of play.

Hopefully, it will not be too long before “video game Trae” returns to the hardwood for real.
