Although still in the midst of just his first NBA season, Atlanta Hawks rookie point guard Trae Young has continued to turn heads all year long. While Young often puts defenders on skates when he isn't pulling up from literally anywhere on the court, one thing is for sure ā€” it isn't his dunking prowess that has kept NBA fans from around the world enthralled with his play.

Aiding such a notion, legendary NBA swingman Vince Carter, who is now a member of the Hawks alongside Young, isn't really a fan of the up-and-comer's dunking abilityā€¦

However, there are definitely a slew of players from around the league that have already taken notice of Young's ability on the court. Not only that, but the league's reigning MVP in Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden has been impressed by Young thus far into his NBA tenure.

ā€œHe started off pretty good, but this last month or two, he took it to another level,ā€ Harden recently told The Houston Chronicle. ā€œHe's been aggressive. He's getting his teammates involved. He's knocking down shots. He has a long way to go, but it's pretty fun to watch.ā€

Even though the Hawks have struggled as a team this season en route to serving as one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference, Atlanta doesn't appear to be too far off from some success ā€” thanks to the addition of Young, of course. With yet another top draft pick on the way and big man John Collins also on the rise, perhaps Young will be receiving some additional help sooner rather than later.
