Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young earned All-NBA Third Team honors, but some fans thinks he should have been higher and made it at least to the Second Team.

Despite what some believe as a disrespect to him, however, Young couldn't care less whether he's in the First, Second or Third Team and instead highlighted his focus and commitment to winning.

For what it's worth, Trae Young was quite happy after the NBA officially announced that he made it to the All-NBA Third Team. He shared how blessed he is for the recognition, as it basically shows he was one of the 15 best players in the league during the 2021-22 season.

The Hawks star won't have qualms about making it to the All-NBA Team, even if it's at Third, since it allowed him to earn an extra $35.4 million in his rookie scale contract with Atlanta. With that said, his $177 million extension has now increased to $212 million.

Now that had that checked on his goals, next up for Young and the Hawks is taking things to the next level. After going all the way to the East Finals in 2020-21, they failed to live up to expectations this 2021-22 and got knocked out of the first round of the postseason.

The team reportedly has major roster plans this offseason, but it remains to be seen if it can help them get over the hump.
