Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young may be in just his third season in the NBA, but there's no denying that he's already playing like a seasoned vet. Case in point is this clever trick play he pulled off against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.

Young took full advantage of a Celtics defender turning his back on him as he attempted an inbound pass from the baseline. The Hawks guard's deceptive play resulted in an easy deuce (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

Clutch play from Young too, with just one second remaining on the shot clock.

Trae Young is playing with a bit of a chip off his shoulder these days following news that he ended up being snubbed for the All-Star reserves team for the East. He's been playing at an elite level of late, but it hasn't been enough to earn a spot for the All-Star game, which incidentally, is set to take place in his home city of Atlanta.

Young will be intent in proving that he is indeed an All-Star caliber player and the fact that he was playing against two All-Stars on Wednesday in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown of the Celtics just adds a bit more spice to this narrative.
