After a rocky start to the season, Trae Young is back to his icy form. The Atlanta Hawks star has found a different gear this season, continuing his normal production while trying to push the team back into the playoffs. His scoring and playmaking have been as amazing as it has always been.
Against a Raptors team struggling after the All-Star Break, the Hawks star spread his wings. Young dropped a massive 41 points on Toronto, his 22nd 40-bomb before turning 23. According to ESPN's stats department, only two players have more such games in their careers: LeBron James and Michael Jordan.

There were many doubts surrounding Trae Young when he entered the league, due to his size. The Hawks trading the rights to acquire Luka Doncic to get him only served as fodder for more doubt around him. However, Young has stood toe-to-toe with Doncic in every way possible, proving that he deserves the same recognition as him.
As for the Hawks in general, they've struggled mightily this year. After a surprise run to the Eastern Conference Finals, Young and co. find themselves fighting for a play-in spot today. Despite Young's best efforts, the team simply hasn't been at the same level they were last year. There's still time to turn things around for them, though. All they need is a few lucky breaks, and Ice Trae will be ready to do damage in the playoffs yet again.
